RBH is delighted to announce that it will assume management of a 12.4m converted hotel in the heart of North Yorkshire when it opens its doors to the public in summer 2015, following an extensive restoration project.

With work already underway on Middlesbrough's newest hotel, the exciting conversions will see Cook and Endeavour House in Middlesbrough city centre transformed into a 138 room Holiday Inn Express hotel.

The ambitious project is partly funded by a loan of £5.8m from Middlesbrough Council in a major deal with Ashall Projects to transform a series of empty buildings in the town and regenerate the city centre.

The building renovation and conversion has been designed by Architect, Ramsden & Partners and the project will be managed by Edmond Shipway. RBH will take control of the hotel when it is unveiled in August next year.

Ross Morrow, chief development officer at RBH, said: "This is a fantastic development for the city of Middlesbrough and we're looking forward to taking the reins on the project following the completion of works next summer.

"As well as transforming an unkempt building in the heart of Middlesbrough, this hotel will also create a number of long-term job opportunities for local people.
